QUINCE COLOR IDEAS: Kids’ Choice Award 2012 Trends

The 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards was full of slime and awards as it aired this Saturday. Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez were the power couple of the night as Beiber won Favorite Male Singer and Gomez won Favorite Female Singer and Favorite TV Actress. Other winners included Kristen Stewart for Favorite Movie Actress, Victorious for Favorite TV Show, and Jennette McCurdy for Favorite TV Sidekick. Katy Perry and One Direction performed to the delight of thousands of fans. Here are the newest spring trends based on the fashion from that night. Incorporate these trends and colors into your quince for a fresh and vibrant look!
1. Coral Craze – Actresses Victoria Justice and Ashley Tisdale stepped out in this upbeat color. With spring comes the appearance of bright colors. Coral is an exciting and energetic color that instantly catches the attention of others. Like Justice and Tisdale, a coral dress is feminine and unique. Keep jewelry minimal as the main focus should be your dress. Coral also provides a pop of color for flower arrangements or table settings.
2. Bold Blue – Electrify your quince guests in a bright quince dress. Dramatic and daring, a blue dress makes a statement. Whether it has elaborate lace or just solid-colored, you will be the center of attention in an electric blue outfit. Like Stewart, wear a pair of heels the same color as your dress or make it edgier with a pair of black boots. Subtle blue accents will also do wonders to make your quince unforgettable.
3. Nice Neutrals – While brights are coming back, whites are also becoming all the rage. Look cool and sophisticated in an off-white dress like the one Emma Stone wore. Or you can choose to take a more feminine approach like Taylor Swift’s halter dress. For an outdoor quince, you can wear sandals like Stone did and still look put together and not too formal. Mix neutrals and brights like Swift did with her subtle colored dress and coral lipstick.
